The course result must be unratified in order to access the "Remove scaling" button. Scaling can also be removed using the 'Remove scaling' action in the Process Course Results screen, this will remove all scaling from the selected students. You will need to re-calculate the course results to return them to the original marks. How to remove scaling via the little i button Go to Process Course Results Locate the student and click their little i button Click Remove scaling Select the option to remove scaling. You can choose: Just remove scaling: this removes the scaling, allowing you to change marks and calculate new course results at a later point in time Remove scaling and recalculate: this removes the scaling and then recalculates a new course result The scaling will now be removed.
