Edit or change an existing rule

If you have already set up a rule in Outlook and need to change it then it can be edited.

Go to the ribbon in Outlook, select the drop-down on the Rules icon and select Manage Rules and Alerts.

Select the rule you want to change, and the corresponding Rule descriptions will be shown in the lower box. Select any of the underlined values to open a pop-up window where you can change the details that you previously entered.

Select Apply.

Select OK to close the Manage Rules and Alerts window.
