Frequently Asked Questions

 How do I request a new programme?

Before a programme creation request is submitted to Student Systems it must first go through the relevant College approval boards.

Once this has been approved please complete the relevant form from the above section and complete this.

The form needs to be authorised by College and so should be emailed by the College Office to Student Systems.

It is important to fill in all relevant fields accurately before sending it to your College for authorisation. 

 What happens once a request form has been submitted to Student Systems?

The process for updating EUCLID data involves many steps.

On receipt of the information, Student Systems will verify that all required information is supplied. If necessary, an email will be sent to College requesting additional information or clarification.   

Please note that delays can occur when necessary information is not supplied or the instructions are unclear and we need to seek clarification.

The necessary records will be set up in EUCLID and then the Fees team will be informed so that they can assign the required fee profile.

Once created colleagues in the Prospective Student Web Content team will be informed so that, if required, a CAM ID can be assigned to link any apply links created and other EUCLID data can feed through to the Degree Finder page.

 How do I request a programme closure?

Programme closures must be approved by College and Student Systems will require the following conditions to be fulfiled to fully close a programme:

  • No current student enrolments
  • No active applications
  • Confirmation College have approved the closure

Please note fully closing a programme and suspending it are different. If you are just suspending intakes then you can email Student Systems to ask for the apply link to be closed.

 The programme has changed name, how do I amend this?

Existing programmes cannot be amended for name changes. Where necessary a new programme will have been authorised and so any change will involve:

  • The removal of existing apply links
  • Setting up of new programme and apply links (on receipt of an authorised programme request form)
 I need to make an amendment to the Degree Finder page for the programme, who should I contact?
