When can I confirm attendance for a student?

There is a change in practice from previous sessions in the New Hub with regard to when you can now confirm attendance (particularly relevant for PG students whose year of programme of study can increment at any stage of the academic session) -

Please note that you are now unable to confirm attendance until 'on or after' the first day of the new year of study, i.e. a red warning message will appear at the top right hand corner of the Programme tab to alert you of the need to confirm attendance at that point.  Prior to that time, the current status will relate to that of the previous year of study/academic session (e.g. Fully Matriculated).

NB

Postgraduate students in particular and also Undergraduate Students (e.g .those returning from an 'interruption of study' at the start of Semester Two) may contact School Offices ahead of the relevant date (as they are alerted via their MyEd record that they need to have their attendance confirmed in order to be fully matriculated).
