Engagement Monitoring Reports

Once engagement data is entered in EUCLID, it must be monitored and reviewed regularly

Schools and Deaneries must review student engagement data regularly to ensure issues are identified and investigated promptly, and any wellbeing concerns are addressed as per the University's Escalation Procedure.  If a School or Deanery is entering a large amount of engagement data into EUCLID, more regular review of the data is strongly advised.

Student engagement monitoring reports can be found in the Reporting and Analytic Tools (BI Suite) channel in MyEd.

Getting access

If you require access to student engagement reports, complete the access request form and select the 'Schools' Student Management' option.

Introduction to BI Suite

Staff with responsibility for reviewing engagement data must be familiar with SAP BusinessObjects [BI Suite].  A workbook providing guidance on various aspects of the BI Launchpad is available at Getting Started with BI Suite.

Student Engagement Reports

There are two main reports to help staff review engagement data and identify non-engagement: ‘School Audit’ and ‘School Exceptions’ reports.

  • School Audit Report

    • Public Folders > SASG: Student Systems > Officially Dev and Maintained > Students > Engagement Monitoring
  • School Exceptions Report

    • Public Folders > SASG: Student Systems > Officially Dev and Maintained > Students > Immigration Compliance

Each report features a cover sheet providing further details of their structure and function.
