Guidance on providing and viewing Exceptional Circumstances outcomes on a progression record in Progression & Awards. When preparing for a Programme Board, you may need to provide or view outcomes for Exceptional Circumstances (EC) cases.You can provide a new EC outcome by opening the student’s progression record and launching their Process Course Results (PCR) screen in Assessment Hub.You can view an existing EC outcome on the student’s progression record. Retrieve students with EC cases in Progression & Awards Open the screen of a particular cohort in Progression & Awards in the normal way. Guidance below:How to access the systemTick the box for “Only show students with Special or Exceptional Circumstances”. Find the student for whom you wish to view or provide EC outcome. Open the progression record by clicking the “Edit” button on the far right-hand side. Open the “SC or EC Outcomes” tab. Provide or view an EC outcome Each EC case is applied to both the course-level and the assessment-level.For both levels, you need to first provide a recommended outcome and then provide a final outcome in Assessment Hub.The progression record > “SC or EC Outcomes” tab has three decision stages depending on where you are in providing course-level outcomes.
