Flagging course results with Industrial Action Impact

11 STEPS

1. The first step is to open Assessment Hub: Course Instances

2. Click Process course results

3. Scroll down to view the student list

4. Click Select all

In this example we will add all Industrial Action Impact Flags for all students, but you may wish to select on the left only the students you wish to add flags for.

5. Click Action

6. Click Add Industrial Action Flag

7. Click the dropdown box

8. Depending on the reason for adding the Industrial Action Impact Flag select the appropriate option for the selected students.In this example we will select MN - Course result impacted; marks not yet available

9. Click Save changes

10. You will see that the Industrial Action Impact flags have been added

11. That's it. You're done.

8. Make a new selection for the Industrial Action Impact flag. In this example we will select SE - Course result impacted; SHOULD consider excluding

9. Click Save changes

10. You will see that the Industrial Action Impact flag has been amended to the new flag.

8. Depending on the reason for removing the Industrial Action Impact Flag, click either CR - Course impact now resolved OR ER - Course impact marked in error

9. Click Save changes

10. Click Industrial Action Impact

You will see that the Industrial Action Impact flag has been removed.

4. Select the student you wish to add a flag to.In this example the student already has an Industrial Action Impact flag and we are adding another flag to indicate some consideration relating to EC's.

5. Click here

6. Click Add/Edit flag

7. Click the dropdown box

8. Depending on the reason for adding the flag select the appropriate option In this example we will select SE - Course result impacted; SHOULD consider excluding

9. Click Save changes

10. You will see that the flag has been added alongside the student's UUN, separately from the Industrial Action Impact flag.

11. That's it. You're done.

12 STEPS

1. Find the student in Student Hub and click their Programme tab

2. Scroll down and click Industrial Action Impact

3. Click Student Level to open the student level IA records

4. You can view an existing Student Level Industrial Action Impact here. 'No rows found' means that no Student Level IA flag has been added yet. To add the flag click Add

5. You will have to add the date that the student was first affected by industrial action. Today's date is auto-populated here.

6. To enter another date click the calendar date picker icon

7. Select the appropriate date

8. Click Save

9. This will return you to the Student Hub Programme page. Scroll down and click Industrial Action Impact

10. Click Student Level

11. You can see the Student Level IA flag detail here

12. That's it. You're done.
