Guidance on flagging course results with Industrial Action Impact for Programme Boards to consider disregarding from progression/award calculations. Industrial Action Impact flagging functionality status The Industrial Action Impact flagging functionality is currently NOT live in Euclid. The functionality will be activated by Student Systems in agreement with ACG and Colleges. Background The Industrial Action Impact (IA) flags are only available during periods of industrial action impact as agreed by the Academic Contingency Group (ACG). When directed by ACG, Student Systems will make the IA flags available in Euclid. The IA flags can be added and edited in the Assessment Hub, and will appear in the Industrial Action Impact column. Once added, the IA flags will then also appear in Progression & Awards in a similar column and in BI Board Reports (details TBC). There are 3 IA flag values available to add to a course result:ME - Course result impacted; MUST consider excludingSE - Course result impacted; SHOULD consider excludingMN - Course result impacted; marks not yet available After adding an IA flag to a course result:The flag can be amended to another flag valueThe flag can be removed by confirming that the impact has been resolvedThe flag can be removed by confirming that it was added in error The IA flags are separate and in addition to the generic flag.
