Assign students (by search for current Student Adviser)

Read our guidance on assigning students from another Student Adviser to you.

Login to your MyED portal.

Click on the Teaching and Research tab and find Euclid.

Click on the Student Adviser tab.

Click on the Assign Myself to Students link on the right hand side menu bar

This will display a screen providing a pre-populated field identifying you as the new Student Adviser, a field to identify the current Student Adviser and various other search fields to help you find the students you wish to re-assign.

To search by current Student Adviser, key the current Student Adviser details into the Find Student to Assign by Current Student Adviser.

To search by student, key the criteria into the Find Students to Assign by Search section of the screen.

Once you have entered the criteria you require, click on the Find Students button to display a list of all the Students that meet your search criteria:

Tick the students you wish to assign to you.

Click on the Assign Selected Students button to assign the students.

Click on the Close button to return to the 'Assign Myself to Students' screen.
