How to scale marks

Marks are scaled in the Mark Scaling Tool. Once you have scaled marks, you must calculate the course results in the Assessment Hub.

You need to know which scaling method to use and what scaling values to apply. Please see Scaling methods for more information.

Process summary

  1. Open Mark Scaling from EUCLID
  2. Search for the course
  3. Select the item, component or assessment to scale
  4. Choose your scaling options
  5. Edit the scaling scheme including entering the new cut points
  6. Check the scaled marks, continue and confirm the actions
  7. Recalculate the course results in the Assessment Hub
