If a programme is to be phased out, how do I reflect this in the DPTs?

Degree Programme Table (DPT) Frequently Asked Question (FAQ)

A DPT for a given year of a programme will only be published if:

  • DPT status for year 1 of the programme has been set to active and
  • DPT status for the given year has been set to active

For example, if a programme is being phased out and is only available for years 3 and 4, then as for the process for a programme that is still being delivered, the DPT for year 1 should be created and published as well as those for years 3 and 4. However the year 1 DPT should be blank except for a note advising that there will be no further admissions to this programme and that it is only available for years 3 and 4.

An enhancement request to allow the publication of only the relevant years has been logged.
