If the Board outcome was to progress or award the student with credits on aggregate, you'll need to update the course grade in Progression & Awards to award the credits. Process summary In Progression & Awards: 1. Award the credits in the "Course marks profile" by clicking the "Award credit" button. Credits can be awarded on aggregate if the course result has been ratified or published. If the course result has already been published it will automatically be re-published when you award the credit. If you need a bit more guidance, you'll find step by step instructions with screenshots included on the document below: Awarding Credits on Aggregate 2. If the calculated progression decision is not progress or award with credits on aggregate, Edit the progression decision (for guidance see Editing Progression & Award information). There are a few different "credit on aggregate" decisions to choose from e.g. Award Masters with credit on aggregate, Progress with credit on aggregate. You can find a list of all decisions and what they mean here: List of Progression & Award decisions. 3. When you're ready ratify and publish the record(s). These are standard steps in the end to end Progression & Awards process. You should complete these steps when you’re ready, e.g. you might want to wait and ratify/publish all students at once, or you may be ready to process this student now. For guidance, please see Ratifying and Publishing. Next steps If you have already ratified and published the progression/award record as part of the process above, then this is the end of process. If you need to make any changes after you have published, please see Making changes after publishing. This article was published on 2024-07-29
