Unpublish

You can unpublish course results for one or more students from the Process course results screen, or for an individual student from their little i button.

You can only unpublish the final course result - you can't unpublish individual item, component or assessment marks.

If you change the item or assessment marks, you can re-publish them through the "Publish provisional marks" process and the new ones will replace the old ones.

You may need to repeat the Unpublishing process

The processes described below will unpublish the latest published result. If more than one result has been published before then the next historic mark/grade will become visible to the student.

This is because the system keeps a log of published results so after one is unpublished, the one before that becomes visible again.

If you need no results to display on the student's record you'll need to repeat the Unpublish process until all historic results have been removed and the "Published Results" box is blank.

Unpublish from Process Course Results

From the Process Course Results screen you can unpublish the course result for:

  • All students who can be unpublished
  • A filtered list of students including just those in first sit, resit or null sit
  • Selected students (by using the tick boxes)
