PGR Annual Review FAQ Navigate to the 'Students' page in EUCLID. Click on the 'Postgraduate Research Student Life Cycle Parameters' link within the 'Maintain Students' container. For 'New' annual reviews not yet created, the following steps should be followed: Click ‘Update School Details’ to add: Postgraduate Director, Deputy Postgraduate Director, Additional Sign-Off, School email address, School help link address. Click ‘Update Programme Details’ to add: Postgraduate Director, Deputy Postgraduate Director, Additional Sign-Off. NB1. In steps 3 you do not have to complete all the fields, only those appropriate to your School’s sign-off procedure. NB2. The School email address and the School help link address information will display in the student's 'Research' page in their MyEd 'Student Self Service' channel. 4. For annual reviews which have already been created and are now in progress, the following should be used. Click ‘Change Postgraduate Director’. Key the student UUN and click ‘Search’. Overtype the 12-digit supervisor code with either the new supervisor’s name or EUCLID code. Click ‘Save’. The student’s annual review will be updated with the new Postgraduate Director. The new Postgraduate Director will be sent an e-mail to notify they have been assigned to the annual review as PG Director. NB3. The PG Director details can be amended at any stage in the student’s annual review process before the PG Director stage. It will not be possible to amend the PG Director once the annual review reaches the PG Director stage in the process. An error will display in the 'Change Postgraduate Director' function: 'The entered student UUN is invalid or no active Annual Review exists for this student - [UUN]. Please use the Cancel button to return to the Search screen’. Please ensure the PG Director and Deputy PG Director details are correct before the annual review is created [step 3 above]. If the PG Director has to change while the annual review is in progress, ensure step 4 is completed before the review is submitted for final sign off. Click ‘Change Additional Sign-Off’. Key the student UUN and click ‘Search’. Type the name or the 12-digit EUCLID code for the new additional sign-off. Click ‘Save’. The student’s annual review will be updated with the new Additional Sign-Off. The new Additional Sign-Off will be sent an e-mail notifying them the annual review has been submitted for their attention. If you assign yourself as the new Additional Sign-Off you will not be sent this e-mail but you will have access to the annual review as the Additional Sign-Off.
