Access Awards

The Access Edinburgh Scholarship is for full-time undergraduate students who live in the UK and are commencing their studies from Sept 2020 onwards. The Access Edinburgh Scholarships are funded by the University and the generosity of our supporters.

For students domiciled in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The Robertson Trust Scholarship is jointly funded by The Robertson Trust and University of Edinburgh. The Robertson Trust Scholarship has supported career development amongst Scottish undergraduates since 1992.

Twelve undergraduate bursaries are available to female students across the UK studying subjects related to computing and engineering.

The University of Edinburgh is privileged to offer scholarships to support Black African and Caribbean heritage applicants from socio-economically challenged backgrounds, made possible by a gift from the family of the late Andrea Levy.

The University of Edinburgh and The Cowrie Scholarship Foundation (CSF) will offer at least one scholarship to support Black African and Caribbean heritage applicants from socio-economically challenged backgrounds. Applicants must be ordinarily resident in the UK and commencing an undergraduate study in the academic year 2024-2025.

Support for qualifying UK students studying Accountancy or Finance.

The Foundation supports students from disadvantaged backgrounds in completing higher education.

Access scholarships are available for students of outstanding ability who are commencing their studies in the academic session 2024-2025 within the School of Mathematics.

The School of Chemistry are offering two bursaries, for the sum of £2,000 each per year (eg. £8,000 for a four-year BSc, £10,000 for five-year MChem course). These awards will be tenable for duration of the programme of study, subject to satisfactory academic progress.
