Edinburgh Law School Kenya Award

The Law School is delighted to offer one award for nationals from Kenya applying to any on-campus taught LLM or MSc programme at Edinburgh Law School starting in the 2024-25 academic year.

Award Amount

£5,000 to be used towards tuition fees

Eligibility

At the University of Edinburgh, the Scholarship will be awarded to a national and resident of Kenya who is accepted for admission on any on-campus taught LLM or MSc programme, on a full-time basis, at Edinburgh Law School starting in the 2024-25 academic year. 

Award criteria

The award will be made on the basis of academic merit and the strength of a personal statement. Within your personal statement please include:

  • the specific elements of the LLM or MSc programme that attracted you to the University of Edinburgh and why these are meaningful to you; and
  • explain how successful completion of this programme will benefit your career, personal development and / or enable you to contribute to your community/region or country?

Priority will be given to those who have not had the opportunity to study at masters level previously.

Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so.
