Tuition fees First degree students from the rest of the EU studying in Scotland, who commenced programme in 2020/21 or prior, are entitled to have their tuition fees paid by the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS), if they are an EU national, or the family member of an EU national. Student loans EU students who have been ordinarily resident in the UK for three years prior to the commencement of their programme of study, and resident in Scotland by the first day of the first academic year of their programme, may be entitled to apply for student support.
