Opportunities within the School of Physics and Astronomy Higgs Scholarships The School of Physics and Astronomy is offering twelve scholarships to applicants who have applied to study either the MSc Theoretical Physics, MSc Mathematical Physics, MSc Particle and Nuclear Physics or MSc in Astrobiology and Planetary Sciences for the 2024-25 academics session. Research Scholarships A number of highly competitive scholarships are available each year to new research postgraduate students. Soft Matter for Formulation and Industrial Innovation’ (SOFI CDT) The SOFI CDT is funded by the EPSRC. It is a tri-institutional collaboration between the Universities of Durham, Edinburgh and Leeds, with the core aim of training the next generation of industrial SOFI science and enterprise leaders through a rich programme of industrially integrated postgraduate training.
