AwardFor entry in September 2025 or January 2026, we hope to offer one student on a Korean Studies PhD programme a prize of up to £5,000.We also hope to offer additional prizes to two students (PhD or MSc) of £3,000 each.The prizes will be made possible by the Academy of Korean Studies (AKS).All scholarship award holders are expected to be energetic members of our postgraduate community, and will engage with opportunities to present their work to the wider student and staff body during the period covered by their award. We offer our postgraduates a range of training and development opportunities appropriate to their programme of study.EligibilityThe scholarships are only available to students on the PhD Korean Studies programme.Applicants must have, or expect to obtain, the equivalent of a UK first class or 2:1 Honours degree at undergraduate and Masters level..ApplyingThe award deadline is the 5th May 2025.
