One partial scholarship to be allocated to any applicant on the LLM in Comparative and European Private Law starting in September 2024. This award has been made possible thanks to the generous legacy of Edinburgh Law School alumnus Ewen Cameron. Award The scholarship will offer £5,000 to the successful candidate to be redeemed against tuition fees. Eligibility Any applicant who is accepted for admission to the full-time LLM in Comparative and European Private Law starting in the 2024-25 academic year. Please note that you must already have applied to study the LLM in Comparative and European Private Law before applying for this scholarship. Criteria The award will be made on the basis of academic merit and the strength of a personal statement. Within your personal statement please include: the specific elements of the LLM or MSc programme that attracted you to the University of Edinburgh and why these are meaningful to you; and explain how successful completion of this programme will benefit your career, personal development and / or enable you to contribute to your community/region or country? Priority will be given to those who have not had the opportunity to study at masters level previously. Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so.
