Current funding opportunities available to postgraduate students in the Moray House School of Education and Sport.

The School is delighted to offer two scholarships to UK applicants accepted onto the Full-Time MSc Education (Early Childhood Practice and Froebel) Pathway in the 2026-2027 academic session, funded by the UK Froebel Trust.

One scholarship will be awarded to an applicant accepted onto a PGDE programme who intends to make contributions to the effective teaching of Scottish secondary school curriculum in mathematics or science-based subjects.

One scholarship will be awarded to an applicant accepted onto a PGDE Primary or PGDE Secondary from a Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic (BAME) background

In partnership with Motherwell Football Club, a scholarship is available to part fund a full-time MScR project. This project, focused on load and physical development approaches in academy footballers, will answer real-world problems which the football club want to answer, with research looking to provide real-world solutions to enhance process and delivery of sports science support.

The University will offer PhD scholarships for students starting their PhD research at the University in the 2026-2027 academic session.
