Eligibility These scholarships are for applicants to the Edinburgh Futures Institute’s Postgraduate Certificate in Circular Economy, commencing in September 2024. The award is for online study only. To apply for the scholarship an applicant must be domiciled in countries most impacted by climate change. This includes all countries in the following regions: Central America, including Mexico, and the Caribbean islands South America Africa Pacific Island nations Middle East vulnerable countries: Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan, Pakistan Southeast Asia: India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Burma, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines All scholarship award holders are expected to be energetic members of our postgraduate community and will engage with opportunities to present their work to the wider student and staff body during the period covered by their award. We offer our postgraduates a range of training and development opportunities appropriate to their programme of study. Criteria Applicants must have, or expect to obtain, the equivalent of a UK first class or 2:1 Honours degree at the undergraduate level. Applicants applying to Postgraduate programmes longer than one year may apply, but must be aware that this funding is for one year only, therefore, applicants are advised to budget accordingly.
