McCall MacBain Scholarship

The McCall MacBain Scholarships are Canada’s first comprehensive, leadership-based scholarships for master’s and professional studies.

Award

Thirty full scholarships and 100 entrance awards available for September 2025 entry at McGill University, Montreal, Canada. The scholarship consists of:

  • Tuition and fees for one of 150+ eligible programs at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
  • Living stipend of $2,300 CAD per month during academic terms.
  • A one-time relocation grant for moving to Montréal
  • Beginner to advanced French language courses offered through McGill

Eligibility

Applicants must demonstrate character, community engagement, leadership potential, entrepreneurial spirit, academic strength, and intellectual curiosity.  Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, a UK first class or 2:1 honours degree at undergraduate level or the international equivalent. Applicants must be prepared to seek admission to an eligible postgraduate degree at McGill University, Montreal, Canada.

The scholarship deadline is 4.00pm (Eastern Time) 20th August 2025. 

The online application will include several short essays, two reference forms (one academic, one community), unofficial transcripts, and other elements.
