The John Fisher High Performance Computing (HPC) Masters Scholarship aims to support the development of the HPC workforce by providing the best students funding for a Masters in HPC or HPC with Data Science. HTML Award We are offering at least 2 scholarships, for the sum of up to £15,200 each. These awards will be tenable for 1 academic year and will be automatically deducted from your tuition fee. Eligibility These scholarships are offered to applicants for the full-time on-campus Masters (MSc) programmes in High Performance Computing and High Performance Computing with Data Science. The scholarships will be awarded to new applicants who have applied for admission to a postgraduate taught Masters degree programme of study at the University commencing in September 2024. Applicants must have, or expect to obtain, the equivalent of a UK first class or 2:1 Honours degree at undergraduate level. Criteria The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit to applicants who are accepted for admission for the MSc in HPC or the MSc in HPC with Data Science. Applicants are expected to demonstrate their motivation for studying HPC and explain how the MSc will enable them to meet their career goals, and how the scholarship will better enable them to do that. Applying Eligible applicants should complete an online scholarship application. Applications are now closed as the 1st July 2024 deadline has passed.
