The Canon Medical Europe Women in Informatics Scholarship will fund four UK domiciled students who identify as female and who have been accepted on a postgraduate programme at the School of Informatics. Awards Canon Medical Europe will contribute £2,000 for the one-year duration of their full-time Masters programme. Canon Medical Europe will support this award for four years, running concurrently alongside their Undergraduate support, funding one Master student per academic year from 2024/25 to 2027/28. Eligibility Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria: UK-domiciled Accepted on a one year full time postgraduate programme at the School of Informatics Please note: This scholarship cannot be held alongside any other School of Informatics scholarship funding. Applying The scholarship deadline will be 11:59pm BST Monday 24th June 2024. Applicants are asked to complete a personal statement outlining why they have chosen to study at the University of Edinburgh - Neil.Heatley@ed.ac.uk Applications will be screened as they arrive and the candidates will be placed on a waiting list. The admission decision will not be linked to the applicant’s scholarship eligibility. Depending on the volume of applications, the selection panel may seek further information from candidates to aid their selection.
