The Canon Medical Europe Enhanced Scholarship for two students in the School of Informatics. Award The Canon Medical Europe Enhanced Scholarship will fund two Scotland-domiciled students from low-income backgrounds who have been accepted on a four-year undergraduate programme at the School of Informatics and qualify for an Access Edinburgh Scholarship. Students are automatically assessed for eligibility by the University when applying for student finance, under the University’s aims to widen access to higher education. Canon Medical Europe will contribute £1,500 per scholar for the four-year duration of their studies. This amount will be equally matched by the University per scholar per annum for the duration of the scholar’s studies, ensuring that each student receives £3,000 per year for the duration of their degree. This award will commence in the academic year 2024/25 and conclude in the academic year 2027/28. Eligibility Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria: Scotland-domiciled from low-income backgrounds accepted on a four-year undergraduate programme at the School of Informatics qualify for an Access Edinburgh Scholarship. The admission decision will not be linked to the applicant’s scholarship eligibility.
