UK organisations and trusts which may be useful to contact for part funding.

A small number of scholarships are available for male undergraduates receiving support via Student Finance England and whose normal residence is in the city of Liverpool.

Brightside UNIAID is a national educational charity, formed from the merger of The Brightside Trust and The UNIAID Foundation whose vision is of a society where all individuals are inspired and empowered to achieve their potential through education and employment.

Family Action has been distributing grants to help people and families in need since 1869. Their small grants programme focuses on the two areas of Welfare and Education.

RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) offers two different hardship funds to students of architecture at the University of Edinburgh which is a RIBA validated School of Architecture.

The Leverhulme Trade Charities Undergraduate Bursaries are designed to provide support for eligible UK students i.e. those connected with Commercial Travellers, Grocers or Chemists in financial need undertaking full-time Undergraduate first degree courses at institutions in the United Kingdom, leading to recognised degrees.

The Gen Foundation is a charitable trust which supports the research and study of Natural Science.

Grants to assist students with the costs of undertaking courses in agriculture, horticulture and other land-based industries. Applicants should be British Nationals and under 30.

The Thomas Wall Trust welcomes applications from UK nationals only, particularly those who, through adverse or unexpected circumstances, have financial difficulties but who wish to pursue vocational courses or courses concerned with social welfare which will subsequently lead to paid employment.

Grants are available to help young vegetarians and vegans who are currently experiencing financial difficulties.

Applicants should be over 21 years old (although younger applicants are considered if taking courses in music or dance) and must be a citizen of the United Kingdom. Grants of around £250 are additional funding to that already secured by the applicant.
