Future Medicine Clinical Scholarship

The Future Medicine Clinical Scholarship is for full-time students in years 4, 5 and 6 of the MBChB degree programme who live in the UK. The Future Medicine Clinical Scholarships are funded by the generosity of our supporters.

We are offering a minimum of 10 scholarships, for the sum of £3,000 each. The scholarship will be paid in two equal instalments in August 2026 and January 2027.

The scholarship can be used to enhance your overall university experience, whether that's by investing in your studies, attending extracurricular activities, or covering living costs.

To be eligible for the Future Medicine Clinical Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

You must be fully matriculated on the MBChB degree programme and entering years 4, 5 or 6 in August 2026.

You must be a UK resident and receive funding from one of the following student finance bodies:

  • Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS)
  • Student Finance England
  • Student Finance Wales
  • Student Finance Northern Ireland

You must also have taken out a full maintenance loan and you must remain in receipt of full funding body support.

Overseas students are not eligible for this scholarship.

By applying for this scholarship you agree to write a report at the end of the academic year to share with donors who have generously supported the scholarship. Any recipient not completing the end of year report would be ineligible to apply for the scholarship in another academic year.

Instructions on how to apply will be displayed here shortly.
