The RMBF aims to help medical students in exceptional financial hardship as a result of sudden and unexpected factors outside their control. The RMBF is the leading UK charity for the medical profession and for 175 years they have been providing vital assistance to doctors and their dependants in times of crisis and great need. At their most recent AGM, the Board agreed to extend the RMBF’s financial aid to medical students. Alongside their core work of helping doctors and their dependants, the RMBF is now piloting a programme of assistance for medical students.
