Female students only

The British Federation of Women Graduates Academic Awards are for women who are likely to be in their second year of doctoral research, or part time equivalent, at the time of application, and the payment of the Academic Awards are made in the autumn of the same year. Awards are, in effect, one off prizes varying in value from £1,000 to £6,000 and are given for overall outstanding academic excellence.

The Trust is only able to support women, British Nationals, who are taking a course or training to follow a profession or career in areas where women are underrepresented, further eligibility criteria apply.

Grants for women under the age of 22. Applications welcome from parents on behalf of daughters or from the individual themselves. Grants are usually for educational purposes but also help women starting out on their careers.

Open to women training for professional, commercial or technical work. Interest free loans of around £1,000 are available. Loans are repaid by monthly instalment.
