RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) offers two different hardship funds to students of architecture at the University of Edinburgh which is a RIBA validated School of Architecture. The funds are open to students of architecture who have been a UK resident for at least 3 years prior to starting their first course in architecture. • The RIBA Education Fund provides bursaries to current Part 1 and Part 2 students of architecture in the UK who are experiencing financial hardship. Applicants are expected to explore all areas of funding available to them before applying to the Education Fund. This includes student loans, University Hardship Funds, Bursaries and Access to Learning Funds.The student pages of our website provide guidance notes for applicants and the application form. RIBA Education Fund Apply for funding • The RIBA Walter Parker Bursaries provide funding for students and graduates of architecture undertaking practical experience who are experiencing financial hardship.
