The studentships cover all UK/EU tuition fees and a maintenance allowance broadly equivalent to those of the UK Research Councils and the British Academy. Research costs may also be paid. Eligibility These awards are judged solely on the basis of academic merit. Successful applicants are most often holders of first class or upper second class honours degrees from UK institutions or the overseas equivalent.
