Funding for UK students

In addition to financial assistance provided by Research Councils and charitable trusts, the University offers a number of general and subject-specific funding schemes.

The University has various funding schemes available for postgraduate students from the UK and EU.

Students can find details on cross-disciplinary awards as well as many subject-specific scholarships through their School.

The College operates numerous scholarship schemes generously funded through the UK Research Councils, donations, endowments, and organisations such as charities, trusts and industrial sponsors.

A variety of awards are available.

Research Councils offer awards to Master's programme and/or MPhil/PhD students in most of the University's Schools.

UK Government funding as well as additional sources of financial support which are available across the disciplines.

The Canon Medical Europe Women in Informatics Scholarship will fund four UK domiciled students who identify as female and who have been accepted on a postgraduate programme at the School of Informatics.
