Edinburgh Surgery Online will offer a number of scholarships for the part-time online Masters programme in Primary Care Ophthalmology for the academic year 2024-2025. Award Each scholarship will contribute £1500 annually towards tuition fees for each of the three years of the MSc Primary Care Ophthalmology programme, subject to satisfactory progress. Eligibility The scholarships will be awarded to applicants who are accepted for admission to the MSc in Primary Care Ophthalmology. Scholarship applicants must be in receipt of an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional) prior to applying for the scholarship. Applicants will be asked to complete an online application which includes writing a short 100-word statement on how the programme will benefit their career and a 100-word statement on how they envisage the programme enhancing their working practices to improve the care of ophthalmic patients in their country. They will also be asked to provide a letter of support from their Educational/Training Programme Supervisor or Director. Criteria The scholarships are competitive and awarded on the basis of a personal statement on how undertaking this programme of study will benefit your career.
