Each scholarship provides a contribution to staff studies up to the full cost of tuition fees.  The value of each scholarship will vary depending on the priorities of the College or Support Group, with part-awards being offered to part-time staff.

Applicants should have applied for the appropriate part-time postgraduate degree at the University of Edinburgh and have received a formal offer of admission before applying for a scholarship.

Candidates may only submit one application for a Staff Scholarship award in any one year.

Eligibility

You are eligible to apply if you are a full-time or part-time member of staff with a contract of employment with the University of Edinburgh.

Staff who are uncertain about their job status or contracted hours should check with either their Head of School or Support Department or Human Resources before making an application.

If you work part-time the scholarship will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.

If you are on a fixed-term contract and you are successful in obtaining a scholarship for a part-time programme of study, the award will continue so long as you are employed by the University of Edinburgh.
