The University of Edinburgh has partnered with the Bseisu Foundation (https://www.bseisufoundation.org) to provide scholarships for displaced students from Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine to undertake masters programmes in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

The Saint Andrew's Society of the State of New York Scholarship funds one year of study in or near New York City for the 2026-2027 academic session. Candidates must be Scottish by birth or descent and will be expected to have current knowledge of Scotland and Scottish current affairs, and of the Scottish tradition generally.

The Burdett Trust for Nursing was established in 2002 with the aim of making charitable grants to support the nursing contribution to healthcare. The scholarships have a particular focus on developing research capacity and leadership within the nursing profession.
