Scholarships

One scholarship will be awarded to an applicant accepted onto a PGDE programme who intends to make contributions to the effective teaching of Scottish secondary school curriculum in mathematics or science-based subjects. The following PGDE Secondary Education programmes are eligible for this scholarship: Chemistry, Design and Technology, Maths, Biology and Physics.

The Boloz-Kulesza Trust Fund enables a successful Polish medical doctor/scientist to undertake the MSc in Clinical Education. This is an online part-time three-year programme at The University of Edinburgh.

An accommodation award for care experienced or estranged students. A number of Unite Foundation Student Awards will be offered to care leaver/experienced and estranged students commencing an undergraduate degree, or continuing an undergraduate degree at the University of Edinburgh in the 2026-2027 academic session. Applications are open to UK/Home-fee status students who meet the eligibility criteria.

We are offering one scholarship which includes full tuition fees for one of our MSc programmes for entry in the 2026-2027 academic year and a contribution towards cost of living. This scholarship is available for students who are eligible to pay home fees and living in Scotland, and who meet at least one of our widening participation criteria.

The School is delighted to offer two scholarships to UK applicants accepted onto the MSc Education (Early Childhood Practice and Froebel) Pathway in the 2026-2027 academic session, funded by the UK Froebel Trust.
