Eligibility

Applicants who submit a programme application to one of the eligible Informatics PhD programmes will automatically be considered for this scholarship; there are no restrictions based on nationality or domicile

Applicants must have applied to study full-time on one of the following eligible programmes within the School of Informatics:

Candidates should be in receipt of, or expected to obtain, a high academic award from their most recent degree. In practice, this means a 1st class UK degree or a distinction at UK Masters level in a relevant discipline. Students with non-UK qualifications should check the equivalence of their degrees.

We are keen to increase our PGR community of under-represented minorities at the Informatics Graduate School and particularly welcome applications from female and black applicants and those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Applying

The deadline of Friday 26 January 2024 for admission applications has now passed.

Eligible applicants will be considered automatically for the Informatics PhD Scholarship as part of the School’s PGR selection process.
