Outcome and key documents from the 2023 review. Quality Enhancement and Standards Review (QESR) is the current method by which the Quality Assurance Agency reviews universities and other higher education institutions in Scotland. The Review and Report A review team was appointed by the Quality Assurance Agency to conduct the QESR and undertook a visit in November 2023 where they considered documentation and met with staff and students. The QESR report is available on the Quality Assurance Agency’s website. The University Action Plan Each reviewed institution is required to submit a follow-up action plan 24 weeks after the publication of its QESR report.
