Prior to the academic year 2019/20, the Researcher Experience Committee (REC) was responsible for postgraduate research degree training, higher degrees and training provision for other early career researchers. Responsibility for postgraduate research degree training and higher degrees was remitted to the Education Committee commencing 2019/20. Responsibility for training provision for early career researchers was remitted to Research Policy Group commencing 2019/20.
