The Senate is chaired by the Principal & Vice-Chancellor. Newsletter News from the Senate Committees' Meetings Academic Policy and Regulations Committee The Academic Policy and Regulations Committee (APRC) is responsible for the University's framework of academic policy and regulation. Previously this Committee was known as the Curriculum and Student Progression Committee (CSPC) until the end of 2018/19. Education Committee The Education Committee is responsible, on behalf of Senate, for taught and research student matters, particularly strategy and policy concerning learning, teaching and the development of curriculum, including education technology and educational aspects of information technology more broadly.
