The Exceptional Circumstances Policy has been updated to reflect changes approved by Senate. UpdatedExceptional Circumstances PolicySection 10.6 of the Policy has been updated to reflect new expectations for Boards regarding excluding results for courses which have been flagged for consideration at programme Boards, based on accepted Exceptional Circumstances. The new expectations apply to students starting Year 3 of an Honours degree, or a new postgraduate taught programme, from 2026/27 onwards. Students who entered the Honours stage of their programme, or started a postgraduate taught programme, in 2025/26 will continue to be treated under previous arrangements within their School.The updated policy will be published soon.
