In the CAHSS, CMVM and CSE 'Elected academic staff (Professorial)' category, there were fewer nominations received than vacancies available. All nominees in these categories will therefore be elected to Senate unopposed for a three-year term. Voting processVoting will be held online and will open on 25 March and close on 8 April at 12 noon. The election will be conducted by Civica Electoral Services. When voting opens on 25 March 2026, staff on the relevant electoral roll will receive an email from takepart@cesvotes.com with a link to the online voting system. Voters will rank candidates in order of preference and these preferences will be used to determine successful candidates. Who can vote?All academic staff who were in post on 31 January of this year year are eligible to vote in the category of which they are a member.
