When you applied for your Student visa, you chose to collect your BRP from either: local post office the University Collecting your BRP from a post office If you selected to collect your BRP from a post office, you must take your passport with you to prove your identity. After you collect your BRP, you must bring it with you to International Check-in. What is International Check-in? Collecting your BRP from the University You must wait until you have received an email from the University confirming that your BRP is ready for collection. If you have a vignette in your passport and choose to collect your BRP from the University, you must collect it at International Check-in. You must take your passport with you when you collect your BRP. If you have received your University student card, then remember to take this with you. If you did not receive a stamp in your passport when you arrived in the UK, then you may also need to show proof of your arrival date (for example, your boarding pass). What is International Check-in? If you are collecting your BRP from the University then you will need to book an appointment to do so. The appointment confirmation email will tell you where you need to collect it. The appointment will take 5 minutes and you can book online. Your dependant(s) will need to bring their passport to collect the BRP. You must complete the form provided to arrange your dependant’s BRP collection. You should contact us using the form below and we will confirm to you if we have received the BRPs before you make an appointment. Please note that they do not always arrive at the same time. If you have not received a notification to say your BRP has arrived, then you will need to complete the form provided. Your BRP will be posted to you, and you must take it with you to International Check-in. From 18 September 2023, BRPs will be delivered by Royal Mail. UKVI have advised the following: A signature is no longer required to receive your BRP, this will be posted through the letterbox or mailbox.
