Withdrawal from the University

If you withdraw from the University of Edinburgh, the tuition fee you need to pay will depend on your date of withdrawal and may also be affected by your source of funding for your tuition fees. You, or your sponsor, may have to pay all or part of your tuition fee or tuition fee loan, depending on when you withdraw from the University.

The tuition fee policy on withdrawal for self-funded students applies to the majority of students, including those whose fees are being paid in full or in part by another sponsor. Where exceptions for specific sponsors or funders apply, these are detailed in the Student Awards Agency Scotland and Student Loans Company sections.
