About the Academic Development TeamAcademic Development formed in February 2026 after the closure of the Institute for Academic Development.The Academic Development Team focuses on supporting staff to enhance teaching, assessment, supervision and curriculum. We offer professional development programmes, workshops, advice and tailored support for academic colleagues and for all staff supporting teaching and supervision. We aim to support and enhance University, College and School teaching and supervision priorities. Almost all of us are academic staff and undertake our own research and scholarship.
