Frequently asked questions about mailing of degree certificates for 2025/26 graduates not attending a ceremony. How can I submit an address?We do not send your certificate to the address on your student record, so we require an up to date address from you. This can be provided on our online address collection form. Winter 2025 graduates who are not attending their ceremony are advised to complete this form.When will my certificate be sent?Summer 2024, winter 2024 and summer 2025 graduates will have their certificates sent as soon as possible, typically within 10 working days.Winter 2025 graduates who are unable to attend their graduation ceremony should provide the address their certificate should be sent to by 03 November 2025 using the form.Mailing for winter 2025 graduates who did not attend will begin after the last ceremony on the 27 November. If a valid address is provided by 03 November, we will post the certificate by the end of December 2025. If you provided your address after 03 November, your certificate may be posted from January 2026.If we have any issues with the address data you have provided we will contact you directly to resolve this, however this will likely cause delays to the above timescales.Due to the variable shipping processes and the number of certificates to send, we are unable to provide updates on individual shipments.How is my certificate being sent?Most certificates are being sent by Royal Mail or DHL. View the method of posting by country.There are a few locations that DHL do not deliver to. If this is applicable to your delivery address, we will contact you to arrange an alternative delivery method.Royal Mail First Class and Royal Mail Airmail are not sent trackable.If we have contacted you to confirm your address or contact details, we will not be able to send your certificate until you have provided the information we have requested. Delays in responding may lead to your certificate being posted later.What are the estimated delivery times?Certificates sent by Royal Mail First Class are expected to arrive within one working day.Certificates sent by Royal Mail Airmail are expected to arrive within 2-12 weeks depending on the delivery destination. Estimated times can be found on Royal Mail's website.DHL delivery times are variable depending on the destination, however once your address has been processed through DHL you will receive a notification email which will include tracking information.
