Examination Frequently Asked Questions Examination Frequently Asked Questions On Campus ExaminationsWhy is my exam(s) on campus?For 24/25 the majority of exams have been approved for in person delivery, although some exams will be online. Your exam timetable will confirm which exams are in person and which are online. Your timetable will also confirm the duration for your exams.Please ensure you bring along your University student ID card to all your exams taking place on campus.It is the responsibility of the student to follow the Exam Hall regulations for on campus exams. Please familiarise yourself with the Exam Hall regulations prior to attending any on campus exams. (exam hall regulations)Please ensure you arrive in good time prior to the start of your exam. Online ExaminationsWhy is my online exam longer in duration than an in person exam?Most online examinations will be listed in the exam timetable as the duration required to complete the exam plus fifteen minutes for submission. Time for submission may not be added where technology permits continuous uploading throughout the exam.Students with a learning profile that grants them extra time for examinations will receive a further hour in addition to the submission period.Your School will provide further information on the format of these online examinations, including any specific instruction on managing the additional digital submission hour.What if I have a learning profile that allows for additional time and other adjustments?Students with extra time adjustments on their learning profile will have extra time granted for short-form exams of 2hr or 3hr duration. All students with extra time adjustments will be granted an additional hour to complete these short format exams. We can then investigate and reply to you.My exam is not on the timetable: what should I do?You should contact your school office in the first instance; they will confirm if you have an exam.
